Key PPWR Requirements at a Glance:

By 2030, minimum recycled content in plastic packaging must reach:

Contact-sensitive PET packaging: 30%

Single-use plastic beverage bottles: 30%

Non-PET plastic packaging (PP, HDPE, etc.): 10%

By 2040, these targets will rise to 50%, 65%, and 25% respectively. Additionally, all packaging must be designed for recyclability by 2030.
